A WARS Polish sleeper car in the 15.55 Ost-West express which would arrive in Warsaw Central on day 2 at 10.15. The compartments in the sleeper car each contained three berths but could be booked for single use.
My experience was that calling it a Sleeper was a misnomer. In the middle of the night, on my outward journey, my compartment door was banged on heavily three times: first the German border guards, then Polish border guards and finally a Polish stamping of my passport. The door of the compartment also vibrated noisily, a hand on the door made it stop but take my hand away and it would start up again.
