Inverness railway station in September 1982. The rear coach of the Wick & Thurso train can be seen in platform 6. The front coaches of this train went to Wick and the rear coaches to Thurso. The train for these destinations was split in two when it reached Georgemas Junction in the far north of Scotland. An unidentified Class 26 sits in platform 5.
