Harwich Boat Train Join Together Carstairs Station 1984

Railwaymen get ready to join together two separate portions of the Harwich Boat Train at Carstairs station. Class 86 no. 319 had brought in the 11.20 Glasgow Central to Harwich Parkeston Quay train and class 47 no. 427 had arrived with the 11.10 Edinburgh to Harwich Parkeston Quay train which are now being joined together.
