On 3 June 2014 the Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (1 Scots), marched through Prestonpans near Edinburgh in a farewell parade. The battalion is moving from being based in Edinburgh to Belfast in Northern Ireland.
