Remembrance Events and Armed Forces Parades
On 13 November 2013 the Royal Regiment of Scotland was given the Honorary Freedom of South Ayrshire. The Royal Highland Fusiliers (2 Scots) paraded through Ayr town centre. A service was held at The Auld Kirk, Ayr, and afterwards a civic reception at the town hall.
