There are 380 members of the Polish Armed Forces buried in a special plot of Polish War Graves at the Jeanfield and Wellshill cemetery in Perth, Scotland (formerly 381 but the body of G K Langer was repatriated to Poland in December 2010). In 1940 after the fall of France the Polish Army was reformed in Scotland. A memorial at the Polish War Graves is engraved with the words: Eternal glory to the Polish Soldiers who died in 1939-45 for your freedom and ours.
