KOLYMALES Soviet Cargo Ship - Grangemouth Docks

Remembrance Events and Armed Forces Parades

On a summer's evening in the early 1980s the Soviet freighter KOLYMALES departs from Grangemouth docks, Scotland. Assisted by the tugs CARRON and LAGGAN the KOLYMALES is pulled from its stern away from its berth in Grange Dock. Passing between two Hamburg registered ships the tugs then swing the KOLYMALES around. The ship is now pointing forward and heads for the docks' entrance, the River Forth and out to sea.
