Armed Forces Day 2023 Glasgow
Remembrance Events and Armed Forces Parades
On 24 June 2023 Glasgow celebrated Armed Forces Day. There was a parade of serving military personnel, veterans and cadets. The parade was led by the Band of the Royal Marines. The salute was taken at the Cenotaph in George Square by the Lord Provost of Glasgow Jacqueline McLaren, Baroness Annabel Goldie, Brigadier Andy Muddiman Naval Commander for Scotland and Northern Ireland and other military and civilian dignitaries.
