Red and White Ensigns hang in the nave. The Red Ensign is flown by the British Merchant fleet and the White Ensign by Royal Navy ships. The ensigns were presented by the Admiralty and the Honourable Company of Master Mariners on 6 June 1947. They were flown by ships who used the Clyde ports during the 2nd World War 1939-45.
