The Nurses Chapel in the crypt (lower church). Refurnished and brought back into use, after an interval of 400 years, on Whit Sunday 1961, as a place of prayer and meditation for members of the nursing profession. The large Glasgow Royal infirmary is located next to the Cathedral.
